I use berkley florocarbon in 2lbs Dia is .007 I think this the same as a 6x tippet in orvis tippets I will get some 7x tippet this next trip and try it the vanish line in the berkley 2 and 4
pounds is what I use the most they work well but I think the fish see it some times I have had good luck with the 2lbs nymphing it is so so dryfly fishing I fish mainly with size 18and smaller dry flys these work the best I have found I fish mostly in arkansas
