Usually the reason for using genuine tippet material is that it is more supple than regular mono or nylon. Being supple or limp is important in allowing your fly to react to the natural currents of the river just like a real bug would. I haven't compared Berkley's Vanish line but would suggest cutting off a couple of inches and compare it to the same diameter of tippet. Hold each by one end and see which one droops the most. Shake each one to tell which is limper...and so on and so on. Just play with them and see what it reveals. Let us know !!!
