I agree that suppleness is an important characteristic in a tippet. Check out the Frog Hair tippets and leaders as they are very supple. If you like to use an Albright knot to connect your leader to your flyline (particularly the clear/translucent flylines) you will appreciate the FH leader butt's suppleness which makes it easier to wrap.
