You read it corectly. Thanks for the info. Yes, I practice coiling the line in my line hand, but sometimes it is a hassle. With time it will become natural. It had occured to me that I might just try stripping in the line as you suggested, but somehow thought this was "cheating". I have had no instruction, other than the books I borrowed (stole) from a library in West Virginia. These books never mentioned not using the reel to bring in a fish. Oh well, what ever works, right!!! Thanks again.
