I know of a knot that is to easier to tie than both the Trilene and the inproved clinch knots. It's the Duncan knot or Duncan Loop. All you do is slip the tippet through the hook eye and bring the tippet you just pulled through the hook eye along side and touching the main line. Grab both the tag end and main line with thumb and index finger. Know take the tag end under your index finger and back over you index finger forming a loop. All you do now is run the tag end through the loop 5 or 6 times. Then at the top of the knot grab the tag end and main line with one hand and with the other hand grab the two lines below the knot pull til tight. Only thing left to do is pull the main line and watch the knot slip to the hookeye for. Before trimming the tag end pull the main line and tag end in separate directions to cinch the knot down. I like this knot because you never need to fiddle with that small Fly and mess up the hackle. Like Jim said this show pass your easy to tie test.
