Keeping your ride clean

A fact of fly fishing is wet, dirty and muddy boots. While tromping and treading in the great outdoors you’re not worried where you step, within reason. But when it comes time to move and drive to another location, said boots don’t go well in “most” vehicles.
In the last several vehicles that I have owned, I’ve always invested in a set of “HUSKY LINERS”. These liners are custom made/molded to perfectly fit the floorboard of most all the later model trucks and SUVs, replacing the floormats. They are even offered in four or five different colors so you can compliment your vehicles interior. Other companies have followed suit but I have no experience with them. (Disclaimer- I have no financial benefits or interest in the afore mentioned company. I just like and appreciate their products.)
For times when I end up driving the wife’s car, for which the Husky Liner company doesn’t offer an application for, I simply remember to throw in some good ‘ol Wal-mart plastic sacks. When the changing location time comes, I simply slip a bag over each boot as I enter the vehicle. This keeps “all” that is on the boots from being “all” over the car. Use caution though, the plastic bags can/might be a little slippery on the vehicles foot pedals !!!
The changing locations thing brought to mind something my father always said when we weren’t catching anything, “I know another place we could move to but, its not as good as this spot”. LOL

Thanks for reading. Comments welcomed.
