Good tip, Jim. Many of us drive the same car on fishing and hunting trips that we do on urban commutes. Probably the vehicle interior suffers more wear and tear on one outdoor trip than on 50 commutes, so it makes sense to take a little extra care on the outdoor trips.
I would add a minor point to your tip: At the end of the trip when you're packing the waders for the ride home, turn the waders/hip boots inside-out so that the mud/sand/etc on the sole is contained inside the boot. That's more applicable on muddy duck hunts than on most trout streams.
