Does anyone have pictures of the damage done by the tornado earlier this spring? I heard the campground near the evening hole got hit pretty hard and lost a large number of trees, would love to see what the area looks like after they cleaned it up.....

    DFWF,
I was fishing upper EH when this storm hit and it was actually, in my opinion, a non-event. Just a cold front passing through that knocked a few limbs down. Which can happen about anytime at LMF area. I didn't see a tornado DFWF.
Maybe some of the folks that live down there can help you out a little more.

I was told by Park personnel that there was MAJOR tree damage in the campground just south of the evening hole and that they had to close the camp ground for a week in order to get tree crews in to clear the debris? Is that not the case? does any one know?

I was also in the evening hole that day but up closer to the bridge and it was a major event to me. No doubt in my mind it was a tornado. At least 25 large trees in the tent camp area were destroyed. I tried to drive though there going back to my r.v. but the road was completely blocked buy downed trees. I also tried to go into that area the next day to take pictures but the park rangers would not allow anyone in due to dangerous trees still leaning.

No pics, but the area is open again for access & camping. Quite a bit of tree damage & far from being "cleaned up". It's a state park though - give it a year or two & you'll barely notice anything happened.
