Fly Line

    Been a while since been fishing. Need to replace fly line on reel. Have a 5 wt rod, what is a good line choice.

    It all depends on how much you want to spend. I like the Rio and Scientific Angler lines. They are both going to cost around $70.00 plus tax. They do make a cheaper line and I do buy them for my 8 weights mainly because I don't fish my 8 weights very much. The thing is that if yu are fil fishing a lot then go with the expensive lines. They last long and cast father. But if you don't fish alot go with the cheaper lines this way you will not be disapointed when you take it out in two years and see that you have to replace the line again.

    Sure wish you had asked this 2 weeks ago. Cabela's just cleared out the 2011 Sage lines for 29.99 each :(
