FenwickGee whiz, sorry for the late reply. In all the time I've been posting in the discussions I never thought to look at my Inbox until I stumbled into it by accident yesterday Dec. 30 to find I have a whole bunch of messages from the guys. My Fenwick fly rod reads as follows: FF70 7' 3 oz. / AFTMA Fly Line No. 6 / Serial J 19558
It was a Christmas present in '72 along with it came a "made in USA" Pflueger Medalist model 1494 DA and all I've ever done to that combo is clean it and change the backing and fly line. If we meet at the LMF you'll see me nymphing with it in the more narrow parts of the river, the spillway, Lost Creek etc. Again, sorry for such a late response. Happy New Year.December 2011 -
